Feeling listless hey Lukey? :)

May I suggest having a look at <a href="http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/01/how-to-discover-your-life-purpose-in-about-20-minutes/" rel="nofollow">this short article</a>? I couldn't have put it better myself.

I think an attitude that doesn't constantly expect to find Mr Right is a really healthy one. It sucks that it's coming from a place where that equals you being jaded, but if you just see it as being different priorities, I think that's great! ...now to find purpose

But this is rich - coming from a man who's married :/ Sorry. I'm an advice-junkie :(

Seems to me like you're over-distracted. Too many time-intensive energy suckers keeping you back from dedicating time to all those things we're supposed to be doing at our age.

A few distractions are nice, but when your entire life comes under their powerful finger it's time to shuffle and realign.

Write more words here. I miss you.

hmmm.....
seems like you'll be able to manage soon enough, considering you can step back (for the moment) and see that you aren't paying attention to things (or more attention to lesser things)
hope things (work wise) get better, because things non work related should follow suit!

by the way...Canada is nice.

And to continue Danu's last sentence, keep being honest with the rest of us too. You may find mirrors in some unlikely places.

If you measure completeness by the things you collect, of course you will never be satisfied. It is possible to have nothing and still feel whole. I think that Jesus guy had a few things to say about that.

You hit it on the head with your extrinsic comment. Whose reassurance do you need? Whose permission do you really need to do what you do? I don't know the answer to that, but it will tell you something if you're honest about it.

Wherever the wind takes you sounds wonderfully poetic, but I don't believe for a moment that it's what you've ever really wanted. If it were, would you talk about being lost and needing direction as much as you do?

Just be honest with yourself mate. You'll be surprised what you find out.
